福衛五號是台灣現役的遙測衛星，它已經運作6年多、取像超過64,000幅（2017自2023年2月）。它從720公里外的太空觀測地形、守護台灣，也協助國際救災、科學研究。很快福衛八號也會升空，接棒福五的位置，提供更清晰影像給我們。
今年的桌曆我們將跟著TASA國家太空中心與福五一起旅遊，我們精選了12幅衛星拍攝的全球各地國家公園照片，以及五張滿版插畫──從啟程、探險、紀錄、回家到下一段旅程，分別講述了福五工作的旅程也展望TASA的未來的目標。除此之外，背面的月曆也標上了與太空的相關歷史大事件與觀測流星雨的最佳時間。

This year’s desk calendar will take us on a journey with TASA (Taiwanese Space Agency) and FS-5. We have selected 12 photos of national parks from around the world captured by satellites, along with five full-page illustrations depicting the journey from departure, adventure, recording, returning, to the next journey. Each tells the story of FS-5’s mission and looks ahead to the future goals of TASA.

We entered the competition in the Science and Technology Professional category. To make it to the finals, we had to stand out among over 5000 submissions from 84 countries, with a selection rate of only 3%!
There are 12 months of beautiful satellite photos, along with 6 educational illustrations about FORMOSAT-5 in this Calendar.
